The number of users of state services is 112 million people. This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Development on the day of the 15th anniversary of the service.

The ministry stated on its Telegram channel that December 15 marked exactly 15 years since the launch of the public services portal.
The message says that at first 20 services were available to service users, since then the number of services has increased to 1.6 thousand and the number of users exceeds 112 million.
Every day the portal receives 2 million requests from Russians. The Ministry of Digital Development also provides other service statistics. For example, since 2009, users have submitted more than 2.3 million marriage applications online and registered the births of 670,000 children.
This week, news broke of a bill that would require Steam and other gaming platforms to identify players by phone number or through “Government Services.” The document is expected to be submitted soon to the State Duma for consideration.
