This was reported by the Aviatorschina Telegram channel with reference to informed sources. It is reported that the salary increase for pilots promised from October 31, 2024 bypassed instructors and work teams, so “work teams and instructors began to receive even less than co-pilots.”
According to the channel’s interlocutors, Aeroflot Deputy General Director and Flight Director Eduard Sovetkin, instead of increasing salaries, introduced a bonus system for instructors, but it is applied unevenly and subjectively.
Aeroflot employees intend to file a complaint against the flight director “for irregularities in salaries.”
In November, Aeroflot announced plans to overhaul the flight attendant pay system after increasing pilot salaries. As a result of the innovations, the salaries of flight attendants and stewards from March 1, 2025 will be able to increase on average by 30%.
