The letter also questions OpenAI’s past practices and calls for an investigation into whether assets were improperly transferred to other organizations. *Meta supports Elon Musk’s current lawsuit against OpenAI, saying Musk is well-suited to represent public interests because of his role in creating OpenAI.
In response, OpenAI argues that any restructuring would “ensure the continuation of its nonprofit mission” and “allow it to scale its operations.”
