A tipster has suggested that Samsung is about to launch two new sizes for the Galaxy Ring. Options will have an even larger inner diameter.
Right now, Galaxy Ring is available in sizes 5 to 13. However, according to the leaker known as Max Jambor (@MaxJmb, on X), the company prepares the accessory in sizes 14 and 15.
These sizes are for hands with larger fingers: the size 14 ring, identified as SM-Q514, weighs 3.2 g and has an inner diameter of 23 mm; The size 15 ring SM-Q515 weighs the same 3.2g and has a 23.8mm inner diameter.
The new sizes will finally be available in January!
Size 14 (SM-Q514): 3.2g, 23mm inner diameter
Size 15 (SM-Q515): 3.2g, 23.8mm inner diameter https://t.co/GSyK3iFLaL— Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) December 13, 2024
The more size options available, Galaxy Ring is becoming more accessible — unlike smartwatches, it can’t be adjusted after purchase. With larger sizes, Samsung is addressing complaints from potential consumers who were unable to fit the available sizes at launch.
If the new dimensions are real, It is possible to add them to the experimental set Available before final purchase. However, there is no confirmation about this.
Like the smaller options, the Galaxy Ring in sizes 14 and 15 will have the same sleep tracking, heart rate, and gesture support features. Even though it’s bigger, Devices do not offer feature differences, Although there are more robust batteries available in larger sizes.
Right now, Galaxy Ring is available in Brazil for R$ 3,499 on Samsung’s official website.
For now, Samsung has not commented on the new dimensions of the Galaxy Ring. However, if these are real, it is possible that the company will mention this news during the launch of the new Galaxy S25 in January next year.
