In the first stage of the pilot project, Ozon distribution points will be opened within the existing SDEK collection points in localities with a population of up to 50 thousand people.

The first 10 joint locations are now operational and available to customers in the Ozon store. It is planned to open 100 such points by the end of the year.

In the next stage, the partners will launch joint collection points in cities with more than one million inhabitants. Until the end of the first quarter of 2025, SDEK and Ozon will open up to 500 such establishments. All points will work under two signals: SDEK and Ozon.

It is expected that this format will help increase traffic and expand the geography of the networks. Marketplace customers will be able to collect packages as usual using a barcode from the application, the delivery and return conditions and the reflection of the points on the map will correspond to the standard collection points.

Ozon became the first partner of SDEK in the framework of cooperation to launch a collection point. Ozon, in turn, is also developing cooperation with Russian Post, according to a market representative.

SDEK is an international delivery operator, represented in 43 countries around the world, with more than 5.4 thousand collection points.
