Kim and VB Development, which was building warehouses for Wildberries, filed a lawsuit against Bakalchuk in early October. A Vedomosti source familiar with the contents of the document said the claim was related to losses suffered by VB Development.

According to the interlocutor, advance payments worth 37 billion rubles for the construction of warehouses were withdrawn from the company by order of Bakalchuk and the corresponding services were not provided. In October, Kim confirmed this information and noted that Bakalchuk’s team put the entire business at risk.

Bakalchuk wrote on his Telegram channel that Kim’s lawsuit “was doomed from the beginning.” “At first, Tatyana claimed that my company VB Development (VB Development is 100% owned by Bakalchuk – editor’s note) supposedly belongs to her. And then – attention! — on behalf of the same company filed a lawsuit, demanding to recover a fantastic amount from me and my director. It turns out that I had to collect 37 billion? – said the businessman.

According to him, “the court did not support this absurdity” and refused to recognize Kim’s rights to VB Development, and then refused to satisfy the Wildberries co-founder’s demand.

Bakalchuk also commented on another court hearing, during which a businessman challenged the transfer of assets from Wildberries to RVB, but lost. “We received a refusal to satisfy the demand about the illegality of the transfer of assets from Wildberries to the united company RVB. The decision is outrageous, illegal and does not suit us at all. “We are filing an appeal,” added the businessman.

In response to a request from RB.RU, the RVB press service reported that they recommend going to the judicial authorities to find out the details of the process.

  • In June, Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ announced a merger to create a “modern, high-tech digital commerce platform.” As a result of the merger, the company RVB was created.
  • Bakalchuk, who founded the market with Kim, accused Russ of “raiding the business” and tried to stop the deal. In July, Kim announced that she had filed for divorce from Bakalchuk.
