MegaFon has launched the sale of tablets under its own Fontel brand.
You can buy them in the operator’s online store or in retail communication stores of MegaFon and Yota.
The line includes two models: FT800 and FT1000. Both devices use voice calling, LTE, micro-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. They come with 32GB of built-in memory and microSD card support up to 128GB.
The FT800 has an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 800×1280 pixels, a 2 MP main camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The FT1000 has a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Cameras: main – 5 MP, front – 2 MP.
The development and production of Fontel tablets is carried out by MegaFon’s subsidiary Revo Charge. Before launching the device for sale, conduct thorough testing in the company’s laboratory: check the data transfer speed, the correct operation of the technologies, as well as the VoLTE and VoWiFi support functions.
We expect high sales of our tablets. They have everything you need for comfortable and functional use, and we have set very competitive prices. The audience is well-received by gadgets from our normal brands, we will monitor the demand for tablets and in the future we expect to increase their range.
— Director of the Department for Strategy and Sales Development at MegaFon David Borzilov
The Fontel brand already produces 9 models of push-button phones, 2 tablets, as well as 18 smart bracelets and smart watches for children and adults. MegaFon notes that demand for Fontel in January-November of this year increased by 300% compared to the same period last year.
