The Moscow Venture Fund (IMF) invested 100 million rubles in the prosthesis manufacturer Motorika. The money was provided in the form of a loan for a period of two years and will be used to prepare for the IPO in 2026. This was reported to RB.RU by the IMF press service.

The IPO will allow Motorika to attract additional funds for its growth and development, said the company’s CEO Andrey Davidyuk. Looking ahead, the prosthetics maker plans to invest in research and development, expand its product line through mergers and acquisitions, and increase production.

In addition, the company will invest money in entering new markets in countries friendly to Russia, which will increase Motorika’s competitiveness and create value for its shareholders, Davidyuk added.

“Motorika” was founded in 2015. According to its own data, the company is a leading developer and manufacturer of functional cyberprostheses of the upper and lower extremities, which is developing the direction of neuroimplants for the treatment of diseases of the nervous system.

The prosthetics manufacturer has attracted investment before. In 2019-2021, the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Far East High-Tech Fund invested 400 million rubles in the company, and in 2024, Motorika attracted 900 million rubles.

According to Rusprofile, in 2023 Motorika LLC’s revenue amounted to 1.9 billion rubles against 597 million rubles in 2022, and net profit was 636 million rubles against 85 million rubles year-on-year.
