AI-related cryptocurrencies ranked second in popularity and accounted for 12.6% of Coingecko’s traffic. The capitalization of this item as of December 25 was almost $45 billion.
AI is followed by real-world tokenized assets, which capture 8.7% of investors’ attention. Such assets are projects that allow you to tokenize any “real” asset that has value by placing it on blockchain applications. The capitalization of Real World Assets at the moment exceeds 20 billion dollars.
Another popular cryptocurrency category was the Solana ecosystem, which accounted for 5.8% of Coingecko’s traffic. On the other hand, the aggregator highlighted the memcoins created in Solana, whose participation in the ranking was 7.7% with a capitalization of more than 16 billion dollars.
Previously, the American magazine Forbes published a crypto forecast for 2025. As journalists expect, next year technology giants will start buying bitcoins and one of the largest countries in the G7 or BRICS will announce the creation of a strategic cryptocurrency reserve.
