On these dates, in the foreign exchange market and in the precious metals market, all instruments will be traded, except for operations with a settlement date on the day of their conclusion (with settlement today) and swap operations, with a settlement date of obligations whose first parts fall on the day of their celebration.

In addition, in the standardized derivatives market for over-the-counter transactions with a central counterparty, trading will be carried out with settlements for all instruments, except for SPFI contracts, which provide for obligations in Russian rubles.

December 29 and 31, January 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 will be holidays on the Moscow Stock Exchange. As of January 9, transactions will begin to take place normally, the message states.

Earlier, the Moscow Exchange told RBC that the volume of shares traded on the site on December 20 broke a record since February 2022. The most active growth was observed after the Central Bank decided to leave the key interest rate at 21%, said Boris Blokhin, managing director of the stock market.
