Congress is looking to NASA for decisions regarding the development and implementation of projects to operate future commercial orbital stations as the ISS is expected to be deorbited. The bill attaches importance to a full and seamless transition from the ISS to new stations and the development of the relevant infrastructure. For this, flights and astronauts’ work in orbit must continue uninterrupted.

In addition, members of Congress are determined to recalculate the money allocated to space programs and solve the problem of cost overruns. NASA approved a budget of 25.4 billion dollars for 2025.
