Most missions launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, while others launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. Starship tests were conducted at SpaceX’s Starbase in Texas.

Most of the launches supported Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service. The number of launches of commercial contracts increased from 12 to over 20 in 2023. Government contracts reached 18 launches.

SpaceX has also supported human spaceflight by launching Crew-8 and Crew-9 to the International Space Station and the special Axiom-3 mission. The Polaris Dawn mission provided the furthest human spaceflight since Apollo and included the first commercial spacewalk.
