The new animation may be related to the upcoming Gemini 2.0 model, which is expected to improve AI investigations by more accurately solving complex problems including advanced mathematics, multi-modal queries, and programming. According to media reports, Google began testing Gemini 2.0 for AI reviews earlier this month, with a wider rollout planned for early next year.

The animation is currently being tested for some users, specifically those participating in the Search Labs beta program.
