As insiders note, the ECG function in the OHealth app can detect conditions such as afibrillation, rapid heartbeat, high or low pulse. This feature requires certain phone requirements but can also be used directly on the watch.

The app also features wrist-based temperature measurement, which requires you to set the baseline temperature and a few days’ worth of sleep measurements.

OnePlus Watch 3 is also expected to have a “60-second scan” feature that scans for three major health risks: heart health, blood vessel elasticity, and sleep snoring. The screening is based on seven health indicators, including blood oxygen levels, sleep and vascular elasticity.
