META is working on the development of a new WhatsApp application for MAC computers.

This was learned from Wabetainfo. The new version of the app will have an updated MacOS-style design. There will also be native support for Apple company processors: M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra and M2. With such improvements, the application will be able to work much faster, as well as the power consumption.

At the moment, the current version of the WhatsApp application is already optimized for Intel processors and works well on MAC computers with M-series chips that use the Rosetta 2 translator.

META is currently actively testing an updated app. The exact release date of the new version of the application is not named, but most likely the program will be released in the near future.
