Scientists ranked the MIND diet (rating 4.4) and the flexible diet (rating 3.8), as well as the Mediterranean diet (rating 4.6), as the “best diets for mental health.”

The MIND diet combines the principles of the Mediterranean diet and the DASH diet. The DASH diet ranked fourth in the Mental Health category (rating 3.4). It is mainly aimed at people who want to keep their blood pressure under control.

The MIND Diet, DASH Diet, and Flexitarian Diet received good scores overall in all categories.
