Many startups have tried to differentiate themselves, such as AI headsets, but their success has been mixed, and devices like the Humane AI Pin have shown potential but failed to deliver compelling use cases. Companies now face the challenge of “differentiating” their products in a market where artificial intelligence is everywhere, the publication writes.

Successful examples such as Ray-Ban smart glasses show that integrating artificial intelligence into “universal devices” can work.

As Anschel Sag of Moor Insights points out, for an AI device to be successful, it needs to deliver tangible benefits rather than just boasting about having AI.
