Lenovo introduced the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop with a retractable OLED screen at CES 2025.

In compact mode, the display is 14 inches diagonal, but when you press a button, the screen expands to 16.7 inches. The process takes about 10 seconds.

When the screen returns to 14-inch mode, its bottom part becomes a laptop body under the keyboard. In this position, the pixels are shifted across parts of the display and are turned off to save power.

The company claims that the mechanism is designed for at least 30 thousand cycles of opening and closing the lid, as well as 20 thousand raising and lowering the screen.

Otherwise, this is a lightweight and powerful laptop. The maximum option includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series processor, 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of dual-channel DDR5x RAM. The device has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 will go on sale in the first quarter of 2025. The basic version will cost $3499 (~375 thousand rubles).
