Samsung is preparing to launch two new mid-range mobile phones: Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. The support page for new models has been opened in France.

On Samsung’s official website, the models were listed as SM-A566B (Galaxy A56) and SM-A366B (Galaxy A36). THE the page does not provide any details about the technical sheet Only previously published rumors about the devices predict some information.

The new generation must be marked by a visual overhaul: Devices should eventually abandon the individual arrangement of cameras and opt for a pill-shaped vertical module similar to the one on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 or iPhone 16.

Internally, the most powerful Galaxy A56 should equip the Exynos 1580 chipset, which is a direct successor to the Exynos 1480 found on the Galaxy A55. The new processor is built with a new combination of ARMv9 CPU cores and twice the GPU hardware.

One of the highlights of the Galaxy A56 is expected to be 45 W fast charging. However, the battery capacity was not disclosed.

The cheapest option, the Galaxy A36, should include Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Both are alternatives designed to equip mid-range devices, and both support 5G connectivity.

For now, there is no preliminary information about RAM memory or internal storage for any model.

Announcement should be made soon

Although Samsung seems to be laying the groundwork to introduce the pair of gadgets, these shouldn’t be the company’s next announcements. The first Galaxy Unpacked of the year will take place on January 22nd and The scene should be almost entirely dominated by the Galaxy S25 series.

In any case, the waiting time for new models should not be too long. In 2024, Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 were launched in March, so Roster renewals appear around the same time as 2025.
