Dimensity 8400-Ultra is equipped with all Cortex-A725 cores, one clocked at 3.25 GHz and the rest at 3 GHz and 2.1 GHz. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has a single 3GHz Cortex-X4 core and several lower-speed A720 and A520 cores.

In benchmark tests, the Dimensity 8400-Ultra outperforms the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in many areas. It scored 1.79 million points in AnTuTu, while Snapdragon scored 1.65 million points. The Dimensity chip also leads 3DMark Wild Life Extreme with 4,086 points versus 3,161. However, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 comes first in single-core performance in Geekbench.

The Dimensity 8400-Ultra also has an advantage in terms of specifications, offering Wi-Fi 6 support and higher camera resolution, while the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 supports Wi-Fi 7 and has better Bluetooth.
