The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has developed guidelines for assessing the operating costs of companies with state participation and monitoring their implementation, the agency said.

The monitoring will show the unreasonable expenses of companies for the rental of additional premises, luxury cars, etc.

Ministry of Finance will begin to identify unreasonable expenses of state companies

“The monitoring is aimed at identifying the unreasonable expenses of the largest state-owned companies that carry out their activities, including with the participation of funds from the federal budget. Said expenses may include expenses not related to the main activities,” said the Ministry of Finance.

The document establishes the procedure for the reduction of said costs.

In mid-March, the media wrote that Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko ordered to optimize and redistribute spending from the federal budget in 2022. First of all, it was proposed to optimize costs, which in current conditions are impossible and inappropriate to use.
