“From February 1, we will increase the minimum payment for placing orders from abroad: from 9.9 rubles per product to 15 rubles. Of course, we will also keep the remuneration for processing returns: we will continue to pay 15 rubles for each one,” the company explained.

They added that Ozon Global operates a different business model, which is why a separate rate is used. It is calculated based on logistics costs and the cost of market services for foreign sellers. In the same way, the rates for issuing fresh or Economy Ozon orders are determined, which are also lower than usual.

On the topic: How to open an order collection point

Previously, Ozon announced that starting February 1 it would cancel the service fee introduced for collection point (POP) owners in April. The company claims that for 90% of the points the rate was low and for most it was 1 ruble per month.

Only the most profitable and “mature” collection points obtained a higher collection amount. The market used the money received from the collection to invest in attracting customers, offering affordable prices, promoting items and other purposes.
