A special project “Tax Reform 2025” was launched on the website of the State Budgetary Institution “Moscow Small Businesses” (MBM). It should help entrepreneurs adapt to changes in the scale of personal income tax, which came into effect on January 1, according to a press release published on the capital’s mayor’s website.

“The project aims to prepare companies for changes in tax legislation. The pages of the special project provide information on the changes for each tax system, as well as explanations on the tax amnesty in the event of a company split,” the statement reads.

It notes that users can study answers to frequently asked questions, receive advice from an IBM specialist and familiarize themselves with useful online tools, such as “Select a tax system”, “Prepare a financial model” and “Business tables”. In the last section you can find free offers from market leaders in accounting and reporting.

Additionally, the special project page contains announcements of IBM training events, which are dedicated to tax and financial issues for entrepreneurs.

It is clarified that the special project was implemented within the framework of the federal project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Business Initiatives”, which is part of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”.

The progressive scale of personal income tax rates began to be applied in Russia on January 1. According to the changes, the tax rate for annual income up to 2.4 million rubles will be 13%, from 2.4 million rubles to 5 million rubles – 15%, from 5 million rubles to 20 million rubles – 18%, from 20 million rubles to 50 million rubles – 20%, more than 50 million rubles – 22%.
