Even if you are beginners, some of the most popular yoga styles you can follow.
Hatha/yin yoga. Hatha means “power”. And this is any type of yoga containing asanas. However, if we talk about the classes identified as Hatha, they usually focus more on respiratory exercises (pranayama). Poses are kept for several breaths and students usually move slowly. Hatha Yoga may be suitable for beginners who want to relax, improve balance and flexibility.
Another style – yin – focuses on restoration, which involves working on the stretching of the connective tissue of the muscles. In the classroom, people hold poses for 5 minutes or more.
Vigna/ashtanga. Vigna is a more energetic and smooth yoga form. During the Asanas series, he breathes the movement and coordinates it. Ashtang style is similar to Vignac, but it usually involves a series of poses that students repeat every day. As their bodies get stronger, they go to the series with more complex stances.
IYENGAR. In this style, the same poses are used as in Vignac, but classes usually occur at a shorter speed. The main emphasis is about the level of the body’s parts using small adjustments. Poses are kept longer and students are more likely to trust stage (including pillows, blocks or arches). Yoengar Yoga is particularly useful for people restored after injuries or for those who lead a already active lifestyle, but for those who want to get basic information about yoga before moving on to other styles.
