According to a blogger’s calculations, based on an increase in the number of CUDA nuclear and memory capacity, RTX 5090 had to be RTX 5080 x 24% from RTX 4090 to 52% and RTX 4080.
However, real tests showed more modest results: RTX 5090 was 30% faster than its predecessor and RTX 5080 – only 10-15%.
Considering these data, the Moore law set dead estimates: instead of the expected 16% of the difference between RTX 5070 and RTX 4070, only 3% is estimated.
In contrast, the RTX 5070 Ti should be about 21%faster than the RTX 4070 Ti.
