We are talking about Dropper accounts, users who, for remuneration, provide third parties to access their bank accounts or cards to participate in illegal schemes.
The new antifrods system processes around 10,000 financial transactions per second. If signs of illegal use of the account are found, access to all tools that can participate in illegal operations are blocked, the company explained. In turn, information about dropper battles are entered into special restrictive lists.
In addition to the new WB system, the Security.wildberries.ru portal launched the fraudulent schemes and more common ways to combat them, added the head of Trust & Safety, the United Wildberries and Russ Igor Somov Russ company.
According to Marketplais, since the beginning of 2025, the information security service of a UNIDA company has prevented more than 15 thousand attempts to use dropper accounts.
The day before, WB said they would create an educational platform for entrepreneurs and IT specialists. The RB.RU market press service specified that the launch of the site is scheduled for mid -2015, will have free and paid courses mainly in online format.
