Yandex bought the commercial brands of Khgomir, Comic Son, as well as Comicon and Comiccon for 20.6 million rubles each. The sale of signs was organized as part of the bankruptcy of Krey LLC, announced at the end of January.

The company said they are already beginning to “form the festival program, negotiate with partners, content manufacturers, holdings and sponsors.” Yandex was also bought by Comiccon.RU, in which “the information about the events will appear gradually,” the press service said.

Last year, Yandex first celebrated his own Pop Culture Festival “Houseon.” Other organizers of games exhibitions in Russia are Lesta Game, Astrum Entertainment, 1C Game Studios. The “Igomir” game opened a new exhibition last year: “Red Expo”. VK plans to celebrate the third exhibition “Fest Vkontakte”.
