The amendments are made to the Administrative Code. According to them, assets confiscated in the court without brands can be delivered without charge as humanitarian assistance. The measure will not apply to drugs that contain alcohol, perfume and cosmetic products, alcohol, tobacco and cigarettes.

Now the goods without brands are destroyed or sold by a dew in an auction, and the money of sales is destined to the federal budget, Izvestia recalled.

The department added that since 2023, the confiscated goods of the light industry (clothing and shoes) have already been used for the needs of the population at the request of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency. The Government determines a special procedure for the transfer of products as humanitarian.

In September, the Federal Customs Service reported that in the first eight months of 2024, 21.2 thousand tons of falsification, 5 thousand tons of nemarkized goods, 1.2 thousand tons of “sanctions” and 1.7 thousand tons of seizures. In total, the service discovered 66.7 thousand tons of products, which was transported with violations of the law.
