The device, called Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition, is not based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, unlike its predecessor, but on the Dimensity 9000 Plus.
At the same time, the basic version of the device with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory is only 595 dollars. That’s about $100 cheaper than Qualcomm’s on-chip counterpart.
Interestingly, the first tests of the smartphone outperformed Xiaomi representatives at the time of the announcement. Thus, the device managed to score 1,041,416 points in AnTuTu.
Recall that the Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition is equipped with a 6.73-inch AMOLED display and 2K resolution. The main camera has three modules (50, 13 and 5 megapixels) and the front has a resolution of 32 megapixels.
