The former superior manager of Pepsico, Roman Rybakov, will lead the JSC progress, the Frutonian child nutrition manufacturer, two RBC sources said. According to them, the company’s board of directors decided to change the Director General at the meeting on February 14.

Rybakov specializes “in the development of strategies and the creation of highly effective teams,” said one of the RBC interlocutors. Another source clarified that Rybakov is known in the market for labor as one of Pepsico’s main key managers and the “Wimm-Bill-Danna”.
In Pepsico, the main manager worked in 2015–2020 as a senior director in the category of drinks and juices. RBC recalled that in 2017 the company exceeded Coca-Cola in the market share in the category of beverage in monetary terms. In Vimm-Bill-Danne, Rybakov worked in 2011-2015 as general manager in the Northwest region, it is deduced from information in the profile of the superior manager in LinkedIn.
In 2020, Rybakov got a job in the Thai company Thai Union, which specializes in the production and sale of seafood, becoming the general director of its Russian unit.
Now the progress is headed by Natalya Medunova. He also began his career at the Wimm Bill Danne, where he worked since 2003. Since 2012, Medunova worked at the Russian “daughter” of Pepsico, in 2015, becoming the director of working with key clients.
Progress was founded in 1990. Now, the company, according to its own data, is the largest manufacturer of baby food in Russia and produces puree of vegetables, cereals, agrious products, fruit puree, soups and other products. In 2023, the revenues of JSC progress amounted to 38 billion rubles against 33 billion rubles in 2022. The net profit of the company according to the results of the year before the last – 6.4 billion rubles.
