Realme introduced the new Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ mobile phones. The Chinese manufacturer’s mid-range devices come with eye-catching design and a balanced technical table, already expected at CES 2024.

Among other differences, the Realme 12 Pro handsets feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, while the 12 Pro+ model comes with a more powerful chipset, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Now, There are no predictions regarding the launch of the devices in Brazil.

Realme 12 Pro+ 5G

Realme 12 Pro+, the most powerful of the duo, is equipped with a 6.7″ Full HD+ (2412x1080p) OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz sampling rate.

Realme 12 Pro+ has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM and 128 GB or 258 GB storage.

The cameras have triple (round and centered) on the rear module. The main component is a 50MP Sony IMX890 lens with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary is a 64MP f/2.8 periscope sensor with optical stabilization (OIS) support. Closing the set is an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide.

Selfies are handled by a 32MP Sony lens with f/2.4 aperture with support for video recording at 1080p and 30fps.

One of the highlights of the device 5,000 mAh battery that promises autonomy for the whole day. The component supports charges up to 67W.

Realme 12 Pro 5G

Realme 12 Pro also has the same appearance but a more modest spec. It retains the 6.7″ 120 Hz Full HD+ OLED display with 240 Hz sampling rate, but there are differences in the internal composition and cameras.

The broker is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage.

As for the cameras, on the back, the main lens is a 50 MP Sony IMX882 (f/1.8), accompanied by a 32 MP Sony IMX709 telephoto (f/2.0) and an 8 MP ultrawide (f/2.2).

For selfies, there is a 16MP Sony camera with f/2.4 aperture. As with the most powerful model, recordings are at a maximum of 1080p and 30fps.

Realme uses the same 5,000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging support in this device.

Price and availability

The new Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are reaching the Indian market first, but it won’t take long for them to reach Europe and other regions. Mobile phones will be sold as follows:

  • Realme 12 Pro (8 GB + 128 GB): € 25,999 (~R$ 1,535);
  • Realme 12 Pro (8 GB + 256 GB): € 26,999 (~ R$ 1,590);
  • Realme 12 Pro+ (8 GB + 128 GB): 29,999 (~R$ 1,770);
  • Realme 12 Pro+ (8 GB + 256 GB): € 31,999 (~ R$ 1,890);
  • Realme 12 Pro+ (12 GB + 256 GB): 33,999 (~R$ 2,000).
