Developers will provide a new function to combat such fraudsters who demand such changes during calls to access personal data or to get potential victims’ money. The new security function is already working in Android 16 Beta 2.
Generally, fraudsters ask them to create the applications they need during the call and give all the requested permissions. During Android calls, it will prevent the installation of such applications and a change in settings.
According to Rahman, a new protective function is expected to help scammers to complex their task and make people more careful when installing and opening programs on their devices.
