“At present, the Metropolitan Airport has signed an agreement on the installation of drinking water sources at the airport, even in the” sterile “areas of international and internal exits,” said the FAS.
The service report specifies that the decision was taken according to the results of the audit carried out by the Moscow ofas. The department pointed out that access to drinking water for airport visitors and air passengers will be free.
- On February 21, the regulator announced that it opened a case against the Free Trade and Service Operator of Regstara-M LLC. The reason was the high cost of drinking water, which the company supplies to Vnukovo airport.
- FAS began verifying the price of drinking water in the air port in November. The appeal corresponding to the service was sent by the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Instant Messengers. According to its representatives, the minimum cost of a bottle of water with a volume of 0.5 L in Vnukovo is 150 rubles, while outside the airport, from 30 rubles to 70 rubles.
