Around a quarter of respondents, 27%are looking for imported goods through alternative channels. Another 29% prefer to buy foreign products from the remaining brands in Russia.

Almost all Russians (84%) agree that national brands could partially replace the deceased companies. 74% expect foreign brands to return to the Russian market. Almost half (46%) is positively related to their possible performance, and 18% are waiting for this.

What brands are missing more? The Russians mainly expect the return of equipment brands and electronics (46%), as well as furniture and products for the home, clothing and shoes (44%each). The following are the brands of international payment systems and services (41%), sporting articles (39%), food and fast food products, cosmetics and perfumes (33%each), cars (23%), transmission platforms and game services (19%each).

Most consumers are waiting for the return of Ikea (90%). Among the clothing and shoes brands, most would like Zara’s return (48%), H&M (46%), Bershka (23%) and Uniqlo (14%). In addition, the survey participants want Netflix, Visa, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, BMW and Toyota.
