The manufacturer’s acquisition director Makfa Makfa Vladlen Parshin was arrested in Chelyabinsk, said the company’s press service to Interfax. The reasons for the detention are not specified, the incident itself was a “great surprise” for McFA, indicated there.

“The company is ready to confirm Mr. Parshin’s arrest. When the company has a clear understanding of the reasons for detention, we will make a decision about the possibility of a more detailed comment. Until now, this is a big surprise for us, ”the press service told the agency.

According to Interfax’s source, Parshin was arrested under suspicion of bribery. The Kommersant interlocutor suggested that the arrest can be associated with the purchases of the grain in which the superior manager was dedicated.

  • The Attorney General filed a lawsuit against former MCFA owners in November 2023. The department indicated that businessmen bought dividends, profits and loans in corruption for an amount of 18,171 billion rubles. The defendants in the case were the former governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Mikhail Yurevich, former deputy of the State, Duma Vadim Belosov, members of their families and related people.
  • In December 2024, the position increased the amount of claims to 19.7 billion rubles. In January 2025, the court recovered this amount, 100% of the participation of the Mishkino plant (product LLC Mishkinsky) in favor of the State, and also decided to recover a state rate of 900 thousand rubles.
  • In May, last year, the Court delivered the “Makfu” to the property of the State, the assets of the Federal Property Administration Agency. Its total cost was estimated at 100 billion rubles, Kommersant wrote.
