The expert of the YouTube channel Quke.ru talked about the advantages and disadvantages of the high-end Xiaomi 12 Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro.
Xiaomi has a glossy case while OnePlus has a matte one. From the front, the devices are very similar. They even have the same screen diagonals (6.7 inches) and other display features: AMOLED E4 matrix, 4K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate.
Both devices are equipped with the same processors. This is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (RAM – 8 or 12 GB). However, in the AnTuTu test, OnePlus scores only 821 thousand points, while Xiaomi scores almost a million (944 thousand points). Also, the 12 Pro gets very hot under load (so much that it’s impossible to hold in your hand), but the situation is much better with the cooling of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Performance-wise, the devices perform equally well. However, the presenter emphasized that OnePlus is more stable.
Xiaomi battery capacity 4600 mAh, OnePlus – 5000 mAh. Also, the charging power of the first is 120 W, the second is 80 W. OnePlus also works a little longer compared to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. By the end of the test day, about 20 percent of the OnePlus 10 Pro was left, compared to 8 percent of the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Xiaomi takes 23 minutes to fully charge, while OnePlus takes 8-9 minutes longer.
The front cameras have a resolution of 32 MP in both cases. There is practically no difference between them.

As for the main lenses, Xiaomi has a resolution of 50 MP, OnePlus has a resolution of 48 MP. Both cameras have optical stabilization function. In general, the additional modules of 50 MP produced better pictures in all conditions. But if we talk about the main cameras, in most cases the photos on the OnePlus 10 Pro were nicer. In the video, it’s the opposite. The best picture in all modes is obtained on the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
In terms of sound, everything is uncertain. Xiaomi has an objectively better audio range, while OnePlus has much stronger low frequencies.
Both smartphones are highly controversial, according to the expert. They are not cheap, but they also have high-end features. At the same time, Xiaomi gets very hot, unlike OnePlus, which is a serious problem. The host itself would definitely pick OnePlus out of the two devices.
