The Max Tech channel has released a detailed test of the manufacturer of the MacBook Air with the M2 processor.

In the Cinebench test, the chip heated up to 108 °C. The MacBook Pro M2 heats up to the same temperature, but thanks to the cooler, it cools the processor better, resulting in less noticeable throttling.

The MacBook Air with M2 reduces the processor frequency under load from 3.5 GHz to 2.6 GHz. On this working surface, the temperature is heated up to 46 °C.

Upon encountering a 3D Mark test that suggests the GPU, the MacBook Air lowered the frequency almost immediately.

The author of the channel noted that the performance is limited only by a serious load. When assembling standard and standard applications, MacBook Air stays cool and runs smoothly.
