YuMoney clients will be able to identify the wallet using Beeline’s mobile identification service. The service is available to Russians regardless of the phone model and tariff plan. Identification can also be done through MTS and Megafon. This was reported to RB in the company’s press service.
After identification, Russians will have access to multi-currency cards and higher limits for withdrawing money and paying for purchases.
Customers of the service will also be able to top up the wallet in cash, from bank cards, through Internet banks, make transfers to bank cards, accounts and wallets.
You can activate the service on the service's website or mobile app. The subscriber only needs to indicate the Beeline phone number, to which an automatic notification will be sent to confirm the data transfer.
Citizens do not have to remember usernames and passwords. The cost of identification is 60 rubles.
In early June, YuMoney launched wallet-to-card transfers to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Three weeks after launch, the service suspended transfers. Transfers are not possible “due to technical reasons on the part of the providers. The recovery schedule is unknown."
