The Amo Steel Factory in the Chelyabinsk region Miass began to produce linear double-axis robots-manipulators, which are twice as cheaper than imported analogs. These robots are designed to automate production processes such as gap supply for the existing machine and the removal of finished products. The cost of a robot will cost about three million rubles and foreign models will cost six to seven million.
The company said it already produces up to 15 complexes per month and increased production to 20 units. The invention has already received a patent application and the first prototype comprehensive tests have passed and now ready for mass production. Robots are designed to equip machines and can significantly increase production efficiency.
The facility decided to improve its robots in response to increasing automation demand in various industries. Using a manipulator, an operator will be able to serve six machines instead of two. The integration of the robot into existing production will not require long -term education of personnel, which will significantly reduce the costs of reconstruction of employees.
