HE What’s up? started testing a new function Fast response on computers, for users of the app in your Windows Store version. The person who has the updated program can reply to messages directly from the notification window.
This is an experience similar to what already exists in the mobile version of the app, where the user can simply drag the window from the top notification bar and reply to a message replied right there without leaving the app.
As seen in the image above, WhatsApp on the computer displays the notification in the lower left corner of the screen with its window minimized. Along with the updated beta version of the app, the notification comes with a space to type a quick reply and send it right there without having to go back to the WhatsApp window.
The novelty seems to be available only in the beta version of WhatsApp, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store. That is, it is the test version that you download directly from the Microsoft store. There is another version of WhatsApp that can be downloaded and installed directly from the official website on your PC, but this one doesn’t seem to have gotten the new feature, at least for now.
