Scientists from North-West University taught mice to respond to danger signals. They found that dopamine behaved differently in two parts of the adjacent nucleus of the brain: one has grown and the other decreased. These regions were activated at different stages of different education – when he recognized the threat first, then while avoiding.

When it becomes impossible to avoid the problem, dopamine signals have been eliminated, indicating that the dopamine is not only “combines”, but flexible in the context. This explains why violations of their work can lead to anxiety disorders and OCD.

The authors emphasize: Dopamine is not an enemy that should be “detoxified, but an important educational and adaptation mechanism. Attempts to fully suppress the activity deprive the brain effectively with risks and changes.
