Right now is Gamescom 2022, the video game and technology fair that has been held in Cologne, Germany every summer for 13 years now.
In it, video game companies focus on their releases, but tech companies always have something to say. For example, ASUS ROG has just announced its products for 2022 and 2023.
And if there is a company that always has something to say in this area, it’s Samsung. The Korean company has revealed three new gaming monitors aimed at consumers with a big budget. and who isn’t afraid to bring a monitor into the house more than their TV.
Odysseus Ark
Odyssey Ark, the world’s first 55″ curved 1000R gaming display. Or so suggests Samsung. Odyssey Ark offers 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) with 1ms response time (GtG) with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
The huge screen wants to convince gamers with a refresh rate of 165Hz.as well as a new Cockpit mode and a unique Ark Dial control that provides more convenient control over monitor settings.
Odyssey Ark includes Samsung Quantum Matrix technology using Quantum Mini LEDs. With new 14-bit processing, the company claims to offer 16,384 black levels.
Originally unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, the Odyssey Ark won the CES Innovation Award. Now, a few months later, the model already has a release date and a price.
Odyssey G70B and G65B
The Odyssey G70B and G65B gaming monitors were also unveiled at Gamescom 2022. These are the first models in the Odyssey lineup to include the Samsung Smart Platform and Samsung Gaming Hub.
The G70B is available in 28-inch and 32-inch versions with a 144Hz refresh rate. and a response time of 1 ms, while the G65B is offered in 27″ and 32″ sizes and features a 240Hz refresh rate. and a response time of 1 ms (GtG).
These features, combined in 4K resolution, IPS flat screen with G-SYNC for G70B and QHD (2.5K), 1000R curved screen for G65B. Both are compatible with NVIDIA and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
The G70B and G65B monitors are equipped with a high-sensitivity far-field voice microphone, allowing users to control the device using voice assistants such as Bixby and Amazon Alexa.

Price and availability of new Samsung monitors
The Samsung Odyssey Ark is available for booking from today August 24th until next September 11th for €2,999.. Those users who have already received the new Odyssey Ark will receive a Logitech G29 steering wheel as a gift in addition to a free premium installation.
Secondly, the G70B and G65B models will be available worldwide starting in the fourth quarter, and we don’t know the price yet.
