At the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), successful tests of a unique technical vision system were performed to control the quality of the products produced in 3D printers. This system, which has no analogue in Russia, is designed for use in aviation and medical industries. It helps to reduce the amount of marriage by 30% and reduce the costs in the production of parts made of metal -bearing materials.

The system works on a principle similar to computed tomography. The high -resolution camera takes photos of the product processed by the nervous network and software. As a result, a three -dimensional digital copy of the part is created, which allows you to identify even the smallest deviations in the norm. The system effectively monitors the printing process and prevents defects that may occur due to changes in technological parameters.

According to experts, the developed technology allows you to quickly respond to defects without stopping production. This is particularly important when processing complex parts such as gaps for gas turbine engines. The new approach includes control over each part of the part, which significantly increases production quality. Currently, technology is used for the interests of a United Engine Corporation and is successfully used to produce motor components.
