According to the Spanish newspaper El Periódico, on May 7, the department employees struggling with economic and tax offenses visited the SuperCette Development Center in Barcelona to gather information in connection with a complaint about violations during the tender process.
The reason for the investigation was suspected of possible abuse of public funds allocated to the first Spanish project of a quantum super computer. If violations are detected, a criminal case with serious consequences will be initiated for the criminal partners.
