According to them, at the time of publication (1:14 PM Moscow time), more than 900 users reported the bug. Most of the complaints came from the Nizhny Novgorod region, Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region and the Samara region.

Some users complained about problems sending and receiving messages. Others claimed they could not open the Telegram app or load the web version of the messenger. Some have had difficulty playing photos, videos and audio. “On the curtain [оповещений] Messages are visible, the application is blocked. Both on the phone and on the computer,” wrote a user named Andrey.

According to Downdetector.su, the vast majority of complaints (60%) concerned the operation of the application, more than 20% of users reported problems with notifications, 9% complained about a site failure, 4% reported a general messenger failure. .

Telegram had no comment on the ruling at the time of publication.

This is not the first time that Telegram users in Russia have had problems accessing Messenger. On October 23, nearly 1,200 people reported another outage. Shortly before, on October 15, the Tagansky Court in Moscow fined Telegram 4 million rubles for not removing information prohibited by Russian law.
