The rules were simple: within 10 seconds, it was necessary to solve as many examples as possible for addition. Most participants managed to cope with 10-11 samples and the recording was 13 solutions. However, Fugaku also completed 442 010,000,000,000,000,000 000 operations – about 500 Quintillion per second.

Humorial participants received their defeats by pointing out that they should move the pen at the speed of light for such a speed. As a consolation, miniature copies of Fugaku were given to the losers.

Fugaku himself is one of the world’s most powerful super computers with Fujitsu A64FX processors and 442 PFLOP capacity.
