The thickness of the Galaxy S25 edge body is only 5.8 mm and the weight is 163 grams. This makes the smartphone one of the finest ones on the Samsung line in recent years. The 6.7 -inch OLED display is equipped with Snapdragon 8 elite chipset and supports branded AI functions. At the same time, the case is made of titanium like S25 ultra and is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and IP68 standard.
However, compact format required significant restrictions. On the edge of the S25, only two cameras are installed: the main module of 200 megapixels and a wide angle on a 12 megapixel. No telephoto lens. The emphasis is on the responsibility of software processing and artificial intelligence from the main sensor, but the flexibility of the shooting will be lower than other models of the series.
Another weak side is the battery. In the Plus model, 3900 mAh elements are installed instead of 4900 mAh. Samsung claims that the smartphone can work all day, but compared to the rest of the line, this is the minimum indicator.
Despite restrictions, the price of the Galaxy S25 edge is higher than the Plus model. The version of 256 GB of memory costs $ 1,099 and 512 GB – $ 1 219. Sales will start on May 30th.
