Now, in the “System” section> “System”, there is a menu for frequently asked questions (FAQ) that you can quickly check if there is enough video and ram for high -performance tasks.
The function is already available for participants of the Windows Insider program and will soon appear with all users. In the FAQ section, you can find out if the amount of memory is sufficient for modern games and video editing. For example, if your GPU has less than 4 GB memory, it may warn, which is considered insufficient for most modern games.
In addition, the new section explains how the amount of RAM (eg 4 or 8 GB) affects the performance of the system, indicating that it is sufficient for basic tasks such as web surfing and documents, but may not be sufficient for complex graphics applications.
Microsoft hopes that this function will help ordinary users better understand their capabilities of their computers without dived into technical details.
