In Russia, a unique technology has been developed and patented, which allows you to equip the orbit stations with robots for maintenance. This project will be a part of the work at the Russian Orbital Station (ROS), which will form the basis of future lunar duties.
The first Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said that by 2030, Russia plans to complete the use of its orbit platform completely. He added that ROS will be the world’s first throne station in which the service will make robotic equipment. This approach will not only increase reliability, but will also reduce the cost of protection of the station.
The test of technology will take place in growth and then become a part of the Russian Moon program. The deployment of the station is planned for the period from 2027 to 2033, and scientific and energy modules will first enter space. The launch will start from the end of 2027.
