The platform, which is offered to all users, including students and IT companies, provides an emulator to create and test quantum algorithms. The Mira Platform, developed by the Institute of Information Technology, corresponds to quantum calculations approved by the government, compatible with Russian Elbrus technology and can be compared with foreign analogues such as Qiskit and CIRQ libraries.

Andrei Zuev, Director of the Institute, noted the importance of the platform to recognize the quantum calculations of a wider audience and emphasized the role of preparing for the future digital economy.

The Rector of RTU Mira Stanislav Kudge described the project as an important milestone as well as to creating foundations for future breakthroughs in science and industry, as well as naming the project as very important to encourage domestic technologies and create a basis for the growth of the digital economy.
